 Day 1: Toronto - Rome Board the aircraft for
your transatlantic flight to Rome
Day 2: Rome Upon your arrival in Rome
you will be met by your guide at the airport and transfer to hotel
en route your guide will conduct an orientation tour of the City.
Day 3: Rome (CB/D)
Transfer by subway to the
Colosseo Stop, meet your guide for a guided tour of the Colosseum,
the Roman Forum & Palantine Hill. Afterwards you have Free time to explore on your own,
then meet in the evening for dinner at a local restaurant!
Day 4: Rome (CB/L)
Today you will transfer
to the Mensas Caritas to provide service and assistance in the
feeding of the homeless of Rome. You will join in prayer and lunch with the helpers at the
Caritas. Free time in
the Evening.
Day 5: Rome (CB/D)
Today you will visit the
Vatican and have a guided tour including the Sistine Chapel, go to
St Peters & St. Peters Square. Before leaving for the outskirts of Rome, first a
time for prayer and reflection as you kneel to mount the steps of
La Scala Santa, then round off the day with a visit to the Catacombs to see how
the early Christians were buried. Another delicious dinner in a local restaurant!
Day 6: Pompeii Vesuvius (CB)
Day trip Check out of
the hotel, and travel by coach to Pompeii, meet your guide for a
guided tour of the ruins, then travel to Mount Vesuvius where you
will climb to the top and see into the mouth of the crater, a
guide will be at hand to answer any questions you may have. You
will return in the evening to Bassano Romano where you will spend
the night in a Monastery.
Day 7: Florence (CB/D)
Continue on your journey
to Florence, on arrival visit the Ufizzi and Accademia Galleries
to view the fine art and the statue of David by Michelangelo.
Check into your hotel, then depart for dinner at another
fine restaurant.
Day 8: Pisa
Rome (CB) Your coach today will
take you to Pisa, a guide will meet you and take you to the
Cathedral and Baptistry afterwards you will climb the Leaning
Tower!! In the
afternoon return for a final night in Rome.
Day 9: Rome-Toronto
(CB) Transfer to the Airport
for your flight home.
